Where Culture Meets Community

About the Zionsville Cultural District

Our name Zionsville Cultural District (ZCD) represents both the heart of the village district and our organization that coordinates marketing initiatives for the community as a whole.

As a cultural district, our purpose is to promote all of Zionsville’s diverse art, culture, history, and community assets to residents, visitors, and potential employers in order to enhance interest in Zionsville, increase tourism, and stimulate economic development.

The Zionsville Cultural District works to coordinate artistic, history-based and cultural experiences within the community such as the summer concert series in both Lions and Lincoln Parks, the town public art mural initiative, the annual sidewalk poetry contest and the Dahlia Project.

Our future goals include establishing more public art throughout greater Zionsville, creating historical culture events and continuing to draw attention to the many artists, artisans, musicians, historians and creators in our community.

All with the intent to improve the quality of life for our residents, strengthen our local business environment and enrich experiences for our visitors.

Zionsville Cultural District is headed by an active, working board of directors whose mission is to “To enrich the lives of residents and visitors by promoting and elevating the Arts, our history and culture.”

The Board meets monthly in addition to committee meetings scheduled as needed. Click Here to read more about our current ZCD Board of Directors.

If our mission is something you might be interested in being involved with, we welcome committed, forward-looking individuals who would like to help bring the best in art, history and culture to the Zionsville community.
